The same publication that published the piece on the White House that we discussed at the last staff meeting also published a takedown of Jane Jacobs’ seminal work “The Death and Life of Great American Cities.” In this humble readers’ opinion, the critique is more about what the author wishes the book was, rather than what the book is , but you can decide for yourself!

On Saturday, February 21, Friends of the Tanner House and the Free Library of Philadelphia hosted a free, four-hour Cultural Heritage Resource Fair celebrating African American heritage sites and initiatives across the Greater Philadelphia region. The Union team participated with a project table, sharing the latest plans, renderings, and interior material samples to keep the broader public informed on Tanner House project updates and progress.
