This week’s staffing meeting will focus on a mix of new business development activity, ongoing project setup, early design review discussions, and current staffing needs across the studio.

Business Development

Two new leads are under review and must be entered into CMAP following the meeting: Post Road Residential Avon, a multifamily and townhouse development at the Avon Town Center in Connecticut, and Diskin Austin Community, a potential mixed-use project tied to a new community outside Austin. Fee proposals for Post Road Residential Avon are also up for review. In addition, two Keeping History Above Water leads—Historic Building Adaptation and Resiliency Planning—need to be set up in CMAP to maintain project history. An upcoming RFP for Pennrose Montpelier is due February 4, 2026, and will require staffing coordination.

Marketing & Outreach

Several marketing initiatives need attention this week, including decisions around potential speaking opportunities at upcoming conferences, ongoing awards submissions, and deployment of the New Year’s message via email. Project photography requests should be sent to Colette, and conference information should continue to be shared for tracking and promotion.

Design Review

Early conceptual and schematic design discussions are scheduled for Steeple & Stone (both the multifamily new construction and church renovation scopes) and the Henlopen Bluff Community Building. These reviews are intended to happen early to support project alignment.

Staffing Workload

Current staffing needs include support on (G)Rowhome, which requires an Architect/Designer I or II for approximately 20 hours to assist with perspective renderings and graphics. Team members should also review time off, deadlines, and availability using the Union PTO Calendar and CMAP reports.

Individual Action Items

Kara will be converting and resourcing the two Keeping History Above Water leads and separating scopes for the Sandywoods Farm Renovations project. Peter will be focusing on Post Road Residential Avon resourcing and coordination.

Please review your CMAP dashboard and availability reports to stay aligned with upcoming needs and deadlines.

The food was too good to not dig in right away, so this is a photo of the food after we were done eating. Sichuan food from DanDan Restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year in PHL!
