Possible Weekend Philly Trip

FUTUREs are loosely talking about a group trip to Philly to support the PVD & PHL connection. We would take the train down on a Summer Friday, split an Airbnb then take the train back Sunday. No pressure, nothing is planned yet. Please fill out the form below to share your interest and which weekends work. We’ll follow up in a week or two!

PVD x PHL

FUTUREs have been loosely talking about doing an unofficial group trip to Philly as a way to support the PVD & PHL connection. This wouldn’t be work-related/sponsored, just a fun reason to head down for a weekend. The rough idea is that we would take the train down on a Summer-Friday morning, split an Airbnb (or look into other options), then head back on Sunday.

No pressure, nothing is planned yet, we just want to gauge interest and see if there’s a weekend that could work. If it sounds fun to you, fill out the form below to let us know which weekends work for you.

Philly crew, please fill out the form too if you’re interested in the idea.

We’ll share results in a week or two and go from there!

Paul hosted our group for a nice 15-mile ride through the beautiful farmland and woodland roads of Westport and Dartmouth, Massachusetts, stopping at highlights like the historic Davoll’s General Store and Buzzards Bay Brewing. What a lovely day!

Week 5 or 6 – the developer (Lauren) and senior site super (Dominic) joined and gave a presentation on their personal career paths, projects and experiences before we did a site tour with the 6 students. To 6 middle school students, the site was a giant sandbox (site conditions mean no concrete yet!) but still full to walk the site, ask questions and wear hard hats.
